River Gallery Project is a one-of-a-kind initiative this is set to revolutionize the way we experience art, culture, and tourism. Situated along the majestic Maumee River, this project promises to be a transformative journey that intertwines the spirit of Toledo’s industrial past with the vibrant pulse of its modern-day culture.

The Layout of the Maumee River provides the perfect canvas for this project, with its meandering waters and picturesque landscapes offering a backdrop like no other. The theme of the murals, centered around pride in Toledo’s culture and work force, serves as a celebration of the city’s rich heritage and vibrant spirit.

It aims to become one of the largest global public art projects. Through vibrant murals and striking sculptures, we can authentically share Toledo’s story with the world.

The project aims to attract tourists in the same way as Great Lakes tourism which float past Toledo, while also engaging and inspiring the local community by showcasing Toledo’s culture and work ethic through art. The River Gallery Project serves as a source of pride for both residents and visitors and aligns with the positive economic development in downtown Toledo.

How do I support the project?

River Gallery Project is a non-profit entirely for Toledo, by Toledo. That means its completion and success is dependent upon grant funding and private donations. Your donations, no matter how small, are essential for bringing this project to life.
